Miss Miskell, public health nurse, from the State Board of Health, has been sent to this county to help in the influenza fight.

The county health officer has closed everything in the west end of the county, Lehigh and Goessel. The Hillsboro community is especially hard hit by the disease.

The Loveless-Seneker window has been decorated the past week with a large collection of mounted birds and animals.

They are the property of Newt Smith and were given him by his brother-in-law Giddings Baxter, who recently died at Eureka.

Mr. Baxter was quite a fine taxidermist and these are a part of his personal collection.

Mrs. Helen Miesse has sold the Shop Elite to Mrs. Henrietta Rankin. Mrs. Miesse has conducted a high class millinery store and will be greatly missed as a business woman.

B.W. Conyers began bringing in his hogs Tuesday preparatory to holding his annual sale of Duroc Jerseys which will be on Friday of this week at the Rink in Marion.
