Marion Chamber of Commerce is planning a harvest moon festival Aug. 9. The festival will include a water ski show Friday evening at Marion County Lake followed by a sidewalk sale downtown the next morning.

Members of Cottonwood Valley Saddle Horse Association have made numerous improvements at their building on Stadium Rd. in Marion.

Interior walls have been removed, creating a large dance floor in one corner of the building. A stage will be used by musicians. The club’s first dance of the season will feature KFDI’s Ranch House Swing Band.
