Jan. 8

1:31 a.m. — An 83-year-old man with blood in his urine was taken to Newton Medical Center from Salem Home in Hillsboro.

10:30 a.m. — Hillsboro firefighters, rescue, and Marion and Hillsboro ambulances responded to a two-vehicle accident in the area of Holly and 180th Rds. No patients were taken to a hospital.

5:58 p.m. — Marion firefighters responded to a gas meter that was hit by a car in the 300 block alleyway between Cedar and Roosevelt Sts.

7:15 p.m. — A 58-year-old male resident at Westview Manor with a severe headache and nausea was taken to St. Luke Hospital by Marion ambulance.

Jan. 9

10:20 a.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken to Newton Medical Center by Hillsboro ambulance.

10:24 a.m. — A 24-year-old man passed out at Tabor College in Hillsboro, but refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

11:41 p.m. — A patient from Hillsboro Community Hospital was taken to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

11:47 p.m. — Peabody ambulance took a woman with severe back pain from the 100 block of W. Commercial St. in Goessel to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

5:54 p.m. — A St. Luke patient was taken to McPherson Hospital by Marion ambulance.

friday

10:49 a.m. — After falling in the shower, a 56-year-old Marion man from the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St., refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

11:30 a.m. — A patient from HCH was taken to NMC by Hillsboro ambulance.

2:30 p.m. — Having difficulties getting off the toilet, a 61-year-old Marion man in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. received lifting assistance by Marion ambulance.

7:43 p.m. — A resident at Peabody’s Westview Manor who was having chest pains was taken to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

8:38 p.m. — A patient was taken by Marion ambulance to St. Luke from a three-vehicle accident in the area of US-15 and 140th Rd. Goessel firefighters and first responders, Peabody rescue, and Hillsboro and Peabody ambulances responded.

saturday

5:14 p.m. — Florence firefighters were called to the 600 block of E. Main St. for a leaking gas meter.

5:35 p.m. — A resident who fell at Westview Manor in Peabody called 911 for Peabody ambulance. Staff refused to send him to a hospital.

8:23 p.m. — A 58-year-old man who attempted suicide at Westview Manor, was taken to St. Luke by Peabody ambulance.

9:27 a.m. — An 80-year-old woman having heart problems in the 200 block of E. 9th St., Peabody, was taken to NMC by Peabody ambulance.

3:34 p.m. — A patient from St. Luke was taken to St. Francis in Wichita by Marion ambulance.

monday

12:18 a.m. — Peabody firefighters responded to Westview Manor for a commercial fire alarm. No fire was found and alarms were reset.

1:37 a.m. — A woman with a nose bleed who was extremely dizzy in the 1500 block of E. Lawrence St. refused to be taken to a hospital by Marion ambulance.

10:33 a.m. — A 10-year-old female having a seizure in the 400 block of S. Ash St., Hillsboro, was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:16 p.m. — A man with a head injury from a fall in the 400 block of S. Washington St. was taken to St. Luke by Hillsboro ambulance.

8:25 p.m. — Hillsboro fire fighters and rescue, and Marion ambulance responded to US-15 south and US-56 for a two-vehicle accident. One victim was taken to Wesley by Marion ambulance. Tampa ambulance staged at HCH.
