After a year of business in Marion, owners Diane and Terry Stubblefield officially closed War Bird Pizza.

The business took too much time from Diane’s work schedule and was a strain on her husband’s health, she said. They have converted the 800-sq. ft. space into a two bedroom, one bathroom house for personal use.

Some items from the kitchen have been sold, but the shop’s ice cream machine and pizza oven are still for sale.
