Marion had a tough opponent Friday night in Sterling, losing 79-48.

The Warriors were down by one at the end of the first quarter and down by 11 at halftime.

The second half is when Sterling pulled away.

“We battled and played really well against a really good team,” coach Kevin Dasenbrock said.

Raymer had missed the last few Marion games because of injury.
