The following accidents were reported to Marion County law enforcement agencies:

Old Mill Road near 170th Road:

Dylan J. Gutierrez, 18, Emporia, was northbound on Old Mill Road near 170th in a 1996 Ford passenger car at 8:10 p.m. Nov. 27 when a deer ran in front of him. He applied the breaks, slid out of control into a west field, and flipped onto its top. Passengers in the vehicle were Ashley N. Moss, 18, 209 N. Jefferson, Hillsboro, Amy D. Thomsen, 16, Hartford, Brandi L. Boucher, 16, 109 S. Birch, Hillsboro, and Brent Lanier, 17, Emporia. Marion Police Officer Tyler Mermis reported Marion EMS took Thomsen and Lanier to St. Luke Hospital. Hillsboro EMS took Boucher to St. Luke Hospital. The car was registered to Walt Gutierrez, the same address as the driver.

400 S. Jefferson, Hillsboro:

Frank Brenneman, 70, 217 S. Cedar Street, Hillsboro, was backing eastbound in a parking lot at 400 S. Jefferson, Hillsboro, in a 1997 Toyota Tacoma at 9:50 a.m. on Dec. 2 and Judy, A. Harder, 62, 951 190th, Hillsboro, was backing northbound in a 2006 Ford Fusion, when they simultaneously backed into each other. Hillsboro Police Officer Chad Richards reported there were no injuries.

Ash near Orchard Drive, Hillsboro:

Carol A Hicks, 57, 506 W. Grand, Apt. #1B, Hillsboro, was in a 2006 Toyota Corolla, at 11:57 a.m. Dec. 6 when she turned left onto Ash St. near Orchard Drive from a parking lot and struck the side of a 1996 Dodge Stratus driven by Erin Marie Vance, 21, Concordia, who was southbound on Ash. Passengers in the Stratus were Janae M. Rempel, 21, Meade, Mattie A. Vance, 19, Concordia, and Katheryn A. Camp, 20, Fresno, Calif. Hillsboro Police Officer David Funk reported there were no injuries and more than $1,000 in damages.
