These accidents were reported this past week by law enforcement agencies.
SHERIFF’S OFFICE
US-56 south of 270th Rd.
Terry Nelson, 59, Westmoreland, hit a deer with this 2010 Toyota Camry at 9 p.m. May 18. He reportedly did not notify deputies until 3 p.m. May 19.
US-77 north of 340th Rd.
Only minor damage was reported when an Oklahoma man sideswiped a Marion woman’s car that he was attempting to pass at 1:10 p.m. May 19.
Mohammed Amin, 30, Lawton, Oklahoma, was cited for improper passing in his 2012 Nissan Altima.
The other car, a 2006 Kia Optima owned by Stacey Couey of Marion, was being driven by Zacory Sullivan, 21, ElDorado, with Steven Moreno, 24, same address, as a passenger.
US-56 east of Remington Rd.
Katherine Looper, 28, Marion, hit a deer with her 2015 Dodge Journey at 9:25 p.m. May 21. Children Paisley, 3, and Ayslinn, 2, were riding with her.
US-50 east of Sunflower Rd.
Nathan Backs, 29, Leavenworth, hit a deer with his 2002 Dodge Dakota at 7:09 a.m. May 23.
