LETTERS:   Bless the beasts

There are way too many homeless dogs and other animals roaming around out there. They are homeless, neglected, teased, beaten, hurt, and are waiting for someone to show up.

People who breed designer dogs and fancy ones like that need to know — if the owner that they give that dog to is careless — the same dog ends up being homeless on the street. That’s just one more dog that no longer has someone every day.

So please, the next dog that you get, save it from the shelter. If you think about it that’s a life that you just saved. That’s a dog, or other animal, who now has a loving, caring owner and who is now loved. And there are many more out there that have to be killed because people think that those dogs aren’t good enough for them.

It takes one person to start making our world a better place and it takes one million more people to carry it on and really make a difference in our world.

So help these animals in the shelter and on the street. The next animal you get, get it from a shelter near you. And together we really can make a difference.

Pass it on and make a difference in the world.
