This information was the most current on file in criminal division of Marion County District Court as of Aug. 3. Information is often not available until more than week after hearings. Journal entries must be checked by the defense, prosecution, and judge before they are filed.
Thad R. Looper, 617 S. Cedar St., Marion, diversion agreement filed July 3 on charge of disorderly conduct; must perform 10 hours of community service and pay $160.
Adrian Jarod Clay, 4831 Richmond Knoll Lane, Fresno, Texas; continuance filed in the case from July 11 to 10 a.m. Aug. 22. He is charged with failing to register as a sex offender.
Dallen Thompson, 501 N. B St., Ramona; waived preliminary hearing July 11 on charges of vehicle burglary, criminal damage to property, and misdemeanor theft. The arraignment was set for 1:45 Sept. 24.
Deven G. Clark, 107 W. Arms, Toronto; case continued to 10 a.m. Aug. 22. Clark is charged with criminal possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and transporting an open container.
Cameron Douglas Alvarez, 105 S. 1st St., Herington, made his first appearance in court July 11. Preliminary hearing is set for 10 a.m. Sept. 5. Alvarez is charged with two counts of felony theft from Jan. 23, 12 counts of misdemeanor theft and one count of criminal damage to property.
Michael Jon Darrow, 502 S. Freeborn St., Marion, pleaded no contest July 11 to criminal trespass and obstruction of official duty. Two counts of battery were dismissed. Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 5.
