The Marion/Florence FFA chapter is auctioning the services of a high school student for an eight-hour day on March 4 at the FFA Alumni work auction.
Funds raised help support the activities of the local FFA chapter by providing money for chapter trips, awards for members, and two alumni scholarships.
In conjunction with the auction, there is a free meal starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Agriculture Education Shop for all potential buyers and their families. The work auction follows at 7 p.m.
If a person is unable to attend the auction but would like to purchase a worker, he or she can contact Mark Meyer at (620) 382-3111 and leave a bid.
Two businesses may go together to purchase one worker, and share eight hours. People may also donate items to be auctioned.
